Counselor Bio's

Tracy Allen
Tracy joined the Blake Middle School Guidance Department in 2004. Tracy grew up in upstate NY and graduated  from Vassar College with a B.A. in Theater.   After college, Tracy spent 10 years in New York City working for entertainment companies such as William Morris Agency and Lifetime Television.  In 2002, Tracy moved to Boston and attended Boston College. She graduated in 2004 with her masters in School Counseling.  Over the years, Tracy has been a part of many Blake activities including SIPS (Students Involved in Public Servcie). In 2010, she won an Outstanding Volunter of the Year award from Boston Cares . Currently, Tracy is the Director of the Blake Theater Department, a title she's held since 2012. When away from school, Tracy spends time with her nephews, likes to travel and attends as many Broadway shows as possible.


Russ Becker
Russ joined the Medfield Public Schools in 2015. He received his Masters in Social Work in 2015 from the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the College of Charleston in 2013. Russ is also a graduate of Weston High School and is very excited about returning to Massachusetts. He has worked in a variety of school settings with a diverse group of students and is excited about bringing his expertise to Medfield. Outside of school Russ loves all Boston sports teams and will be more than happy to talk about any and all things Red Sox.





Kathy Bockhorst
Kathy joined the Medfield Guidance staff in 2004, working at the Wheelock and Dale Street schools.  She graduated from Bates College, with a BA in Psychology in 1987, and from Boston College, with a MA in Counseling and Developmental Psychology  in 1991.  For the first nine years of her career she worked as a child and family therapist for children residing in residential treatment programs in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky and Fall River, Massachusetts. Kathy has been a part of the Wheelock Child Study Team (previously TST) for the past ten years.  She works part-time, Mondays and Thursdays at Dale Street and Wednesdays at Wheelock.   She enjoys gardening, reading and visiting National Parks with her three children and husband.




Jen Dondero
Jen has worked at Blake Middle School since 2011. She joined the Blake Guidance Team, after one year at St. Columbkilles K-8 school in Brighton, MA. Jen graduated in 2004 from Medfield High School then went to Boston College for her Bachelors in Human Development and Communications in 2008. She stayed at BC to complete a Masters in School Counseling in 2010. When not at school, Jen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter.







Amanda Padden

Amanda is originally from Los Angeles, CA, but she moved to Maine to attend Bates College where she earned a B.A. in Psychology. Amanda worked at an educational travel company called EF Tours for five years before attending graduate school at BU where she earned an M.Ed. in School Counseling. She worked for a year at Boston Latin School where she created a transition program for students returning to school after long term absences due to medical or mental health reasons. She joined the Medfield High School Guidance Department in the Fall of 2014 and is happy to have her dream job! In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family. Amanda especially loves spending time with her dog named Ham.




Anne Lodge

Anne has been a part of the Medfield community in one way or another for her whole life.  A graduate of Medfield High School, Anne went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and her master's degree in School Counseling from Boston University.  She has worked as a fund accountant and as an Assistant Director of Admission at Babson College.  Following these roles, Anne joined the Medfield High School Guidance Department in 2007.  When she's away from school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her family. 






Kathy Mahoney
Kathy joined the Medfield Guidance team in the fall of 2015 after relocating from New Jersey, where she worked as a guidance counselor at the high school and middle school levels. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Villanova University in 2007 and her master's degree in School Counseling from Seton Hall in 2012. She is excited to be part of such a great community here in Medfield and is looking forward to helping her students have a rewarding high school experience. In her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Kona. 







Matt Marenghi
Matt has been a guidance counselor at Blake Middle School since he was hired in 2002.  He earned his Master's degree in school counseling from Boston University in 2002, and his bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from UMass-Lowell in 2000.  Matt was also a member of the UMass-Lowell baseball team. In 2010, Matt earned his administrator's license from the Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators Association Leadership Licensure Program.  Matt has also been Medfield High School's varsity baseball coach since 2007. Outside of school Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, son, and his beloved dog Emily. 






Erik Ormberg

Erik was hired in Medfield in 1998.  He worked at the middle school for four years before coming to the high school in 2002.  Erik is a Walpole High School graduate, prepped for a year at the Holderness School in Plymouth, NH and graduated with a degree in psychology from Ithaca College in New York.  He went on to earn his masters' degree in school counseling from Suffolk University.  Erik was a part of the Ithaca football program that won the 1991 Division III National Championship.  When away from school he enjoys spending time with his family.






Lindsey Warner
Lindsey is new to the Medfield Public Schools, and just started at the Dale Street School.  She received her B.A. in Psychology in 2009 and M.A. in School Counseling in 2011, both from Boston College.  Lindsey spent the past 5 years working as a Guidance Counselor at Saint Columbkille Partnership School in Brighton, with students in grades PreK-8.  Outside of school, Lindsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and running







Stephanie Worthley
In 2006, Stephanie joined the Medfield High School Guidance Department. Stephanie worked as a Guidance Counselor for four years prior at Mansfield High School. Stephanie earned her masters degree in school counseling from Springfield College in 2002, and her bachelors degree in psychology, also from Springfield College, in 2000. Stephanie grew up in Clinton, CT and is an alumni of The Morgan School, Class of 1996. In 2008, Stephanie earned her administrators licence through the Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators Association Leadership Licensure Program. Through this program, Stephanie obtained a masters degree in organizational leadership from Endicott College. Stephanie is currently the Guidance Content Specialist. Outside of Medfield, Stephanie loves crafty projects and going to the beach with her husband and two daughters.
